Benches Manufacturing Unit

Livelihood projects
Livelihood projects have been implemented in Subhaningar by the KNA Foundation to empower women to establish their own business units. KNA provides the initial funding, while the women invest an equal amount to set up a small business of their choice, fostering ownership and commitment to their entrepreneurial ventures.This approach encourages community participation and fosters financial freedom.
Sk. Hasina – Mansoor Ahamad – petty shop
Sk. Hasina, who has to fend for her children after being abandoned by her husband, has opened a petty shop. This allows her to provide a good future for her children without leaving them unattended, showcasing the impact of the livelihood projects implemented by the KNA Foundation.
G.Radha – Saree business
Radha, who has no surviving family and previously worked as a househelp, has set up her own saree business from the comfort of her home. This venture has boosted her confidence and made her financially independent.
Sk. Bashirun – Catering and grinding business
After the death of her husband, Bashirun Sukur faced immense difficulty in managing her household expenses. Determined to provide for her family, she took up a job at a cotton mill and worked tirelessly for several years. Despite her hard work, making ends meet was a constant struggle. Wanting to ensure a better future for her daughters, Bashirun decided to take a brave step. She left her job at the mill and set up her own catering unit, pouring her heart into creating a business that would sustain her family and give her daughters the opportunities they deserved.
Sk. Gousiya
In the face of adversity, SK. Gousiya decided to rise to the challenge and support her family. She now runs a successful bangle and accessory business, earning a respectable living and securing a better future for herself and her loved ones.
